The ANT Series comprises aluminium crimp fiber optic splice protectors for fast installation without heat shrinking. The compact 30 mm protector secures a single fiber splice, while the butyl compound provides a sealed fill around the joint. Once crimped, the protector is ready to be placed in a splice tray.

ANT protectors were developed for mechanical protection of single-fiber splices without heat. Their compact crimped cross-section supports installation in splice trays, fiber optic closures and distribution panels where space is limited.
The construction combines a 0.3 mm aluminium body with 0.3 mm butyl compound strips. During crimping, the fiber is sealed in the compound filling the space between the splice and the body. This limits air pockets and stress, while the aluminium body provides resistance to crushing, tension and puncture.
* – Tolerances in accordance with TS 0338/96 v3 dated 12 June 2019.
ANT is an aluminium protector installed by mechanical crimping. No heater or shrinking cycle is required, so the protected splice is ready immediately after correct crimping.
ANT is designed for single fibers with a 125/200 μm or 125/250 μm primary coating.
After crimping, the protector is 1.2 mm wide, 3.3 mm high and 30 mm long. The opening angle before crimping is 52°.
