PIPE
EXTRUSION
On three extrusion lines we manufacture hot-melt inner tubes and pre-tubes used to produce heat-shrink outer tubes. Controlling this stage in-house helps maintain stable dimensions and material parameters before subsequent cutting and assembly.
WIRE
CUTTING
Five complete straightening and cutting lines prepare reinforcement wires. Modern controls and precise pneumatic feeders keep the selected straightening and cutting parameters, including wire length, stable from batch to batch.
HEAT-SHRINK PROTECTOR
ASSEMBLY
Heat-shrink fibre optic splice protectors are assembled by hand from components manufactured in-house. Employees repeatedly inspect every component before the finished product reaches packaging.
ANT
PRODUCTION
Aluminium crimp ANT protectors are manufactured on a dedicated machine designed and built by V-Protect engineers. The process combines the aluminium profile with modified PIB sealing compound used to stabilise and protect the splice.
BLISTER
PRODUCTION
Blisters for ANT protectors are formed in-house on semi-automatic thermoforming equipment. Each item is inspected by an experienced operator, and the packaging format can be adapted to customer requirements.
PACKING
AND SHIPPING
Standard heat-shrink protectors are packed 1,000 units per carton in ten resealable bags of 100. Standard ANT cartons contain 150 units. Other packing methods can be agreed on request, and finished orders are prepared for carton or pallet shipment.
Quality control throughout production
Materials, components and finished protectors are inspected at successive stages of the process. The LPT Measurement and Test Laboratory supports climate, vibration, corrosion, strength and optical testing and checks finished products against ZN-96 TPSA-006, EN 50411-3-3 and GR-1380 requirements.

Repeatability, documentation and custom requirements
In-house component production, dedicated machinery and defined control stages support repeatable manufacturing. For product selection, technical documents, a non-standard configuration or customer-specific packaging, send us the expected dimensions, construction, quantity and packing method.
