Fiber optic splice protectors in transparent colors are already available for sale.
Responding to the market needs, we have developed and introduced a new type of heat shrinkable fiber optic splice protectors characterized by transparent colors. Customers can choose from 12 colors for all series produced by our company. Colored protectors make it easier for the installer to locate the fiber optic splices in the fiber optic cassette. Transparent color is an additional, very helpful convenience when locating damaged fiber optic splices. When testing an optical fiber line with a fault locator, a light source with a wavelength of 635 nm, the damaged weld glows red.
